Ex-Bears WR Engram signs with Browns

Former Bears wide receiver Bobby Engram has signed with the Cleveland Browns.

Terms of the free-agent deal announced Thursday were not disclosed.
The 37-year-old Engram had five receptions for 61 yards in five games last season with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Engram, a 14-year veteran, was a second-round draft pick of the Chicago Bears in 1996. His most productive season came with the Seattle Seahawks in 2007, when he had 94 catches for 1,147 yards and six touchdowns.

You need to look at the WR core of the Cleveland Browns. lol

If their 6th round pick is earning a roster spot he will. But they have 3 young WRs 2 2nd rounders from last year and then Josh Cribbs who sometimes plays WR. That's it right now. He's a mentor but he has the best chance of any team in the league to play there, that's likely why he went there.
