Anyone out there enjoy tossing line?. I never did any marlin, but plenty of grouper in Florida and the salmon run once in Alaska:

That's badass! My Stepfather's cousin first mate's on boats in Ocean City Maryland for Marlin, Tuna, and Shark. About 3 weeks ago they caught 10 Marlin in one day, around the 500 lb range. As you know, I live in Florida and primarily fish for Snook. The asshole text me a pic of one of the Marlin from that day and said ''this is my idea of a Snook lol''.

I usually make a yearly trip to Mt. Bethel PA, the family has a cabin there on the Delaware river. If you have google earth you can check out my spot (the cabin is hidden by the trees right across from Dildine Island. Up by the northern end of the island the river drops pretty deep so it's an excellent spot for walleye, smallmouth, and striped bass. The river bed is solid shale, so the water is always crystal clear and beautiful. Sure it's not hooking a 500lb marlin, but it's a great time (hook a sixer to your belt and take a few cigars...can't beat it).
