I picked up these two games today for about $4 a piece. Don't know anything about either of 'em, just remember them (especially Fable) having quite a bit of hype. Are these games any good? Are they enjoyable?

Fable will be enjoyable if you like RPG's. Probably would have been better to play the first Fable though if you haven't already.

I know next to nothing about Quake IV except it got mediocre reviews for the 360 version.

Fable wasn't available...I think the cost for F2 was $2.50...so...that's what I picked up - lol.

Fable II is a disappointment, but that doesn't make it a bad game. Part 1 was just awesome and the sequel didn't live up to the greatness of the original.

Quake IV is a hardcore FPS game, and has a lot of mods. Not many games are better than anything in the Quake franchise(in respect to release of each generation), as far as pure run-n-hunt FPS. Unless you get into mods, it's going to be fairly redundant. For a few bucks, it's going to be entertaining.
