The salary cap will increase 5% to 59.64 and the current CBA will be extended an additional season. Multiple reporters are confirming it's a done deal.

This helps the Hawks quite a bit since it is almost a million more than what Bettman was approximating a month or two back.

Ok, so cancel that 59.64 number as that's the old cap plus 5%.

How the cap is works is not that cut-and-dry, but it is reasonable to expect it to be in the low 59s.
