When I became of "Bears age", Billy Wade was da QB.

Then Jack Concannon was gonna be da guy.

I have been waiting a long, long, long fuckin' time for this.

I'm like that guy on ESPN a few years back that was just "livin' the dream".

God bless us. One and all.

What is this?

A reasonable and joyful post celebrating the possibility of the Bears being on the verge of ending their hibernation and returning to relevance or better.

We can't have this!
We should not stand for it.
We must have more information

You must declare whether you want Caleb @1 or a trade down.
We also demand to know whether you would draft a WR or DE or OL @9 or if you want to trade down from 9.
We also need the names of the specific players at #9.

You must understand how critical this information is.

It's the only way I can make a reasonable assessment as to whether I should praise your genius for having the same opinion as me.

Or curse you to the Gods for daring to think contrary to my deeply held and ill-informed opinions.

This is the internet!

I demand my right to argue!

I'm going to go ahead and piss in these cheerios.

Optimism was high across the fanbase for Cutler, Trubisky (and Mack), and Justin Fields.

I'm not getting excited until they start winning games convincingly. Outside of '18 the Bears have mostly been bumslayers when they do win.

The first Bears QB I watched was Jim Harbaugh, and I feel like I’ve been dealt a bad hand.

Been watching since Bill Wade?!?!

God bless you!!! 😂

First Bears QB I remember suffering through was Bob Avellini. Mike Phipps was thrown in the mix but wasn't much better. Then came Vince Evans. He was similar to JF1, very mobile and had a decent arm but no weapons outside of #34 (GOAT). Those were tough times that seem to be on repeat, except for a handful of strong years in the 80s but those were due to Defense rather than strong offenses.

We deserve a QB savior. Chiefs also went for decades with the same exact problem. Trent Green was their Cutler. It's our fucking time to enjoy this shit.

Lived through every minute of this down here in Hootersville.

I say what a great chapter in da histry fer da Bears, my frund.

We live in interesting Bears' time.

(think he can butt a hole in that dam)

When I first started watching, I remember good old PT Willis in preseason.

I first got interested in football Ditka's last year of coaching.

It's been a long damn road

Most nfl games decided by 10 points or less tho.

Speaking of bumslayers, it changes drastically from one season to the next. Going into this recent season teams woulda thunk the 3 win Texans were bums. No one expected the playoff Giants from 2022 would fall back to being scrubs. Remember when you wanted the bears to acquire genius offensive coordinator Brian Daboll from the Bills? His offense scored 266 points. 2nd lowest in the nfc.

2024 Bears, Last to First (why not us boyz)
