Earlier in the season i said that i think they were waiting to see how the overall offense looked before they committed to Robinson long term. I think his fate was tied to Mitch succeeding. If you're going to be once again rebuilding your offense with a new QB, it might not be worth paying big money for a WR. I thought his fate was sealed once Cohen got his money.

Maybe he does deserve better, but if the Bears really want him...they can find the money.

The only other receivers the Bears currently have under contract for next season are Mooney, Ridley, Wims & Miller. All four only count about three or four million against the cap and the only one that looks any good is locked in cheap for a few more years.

You are gonna have to pay someone to catch the ball next year.

I would not blame Robinson for running far, far away though.
