I'm curious as to who the other bulls fans feel is the best single season team the bulls had. I feel it was the 97 Bulls. 69 wins and they did this with kukoc missing around 25 games, rodman missing 30 games and having brian williams for only 9 games. Williams was the best center the bulls had talent-wise. I'm sure if he played the whole season, he would've avg around 13/8 on 53% shooting. They have 5 hofers in jordan, pippen, rodman, winter, and jackson. They had depth. When rodman was suspended for kicking that cameraman, caffey filled in admirably. He avg around 12/8.

I really don't see a weakness in this team talentwise. If they williams the whole season, they easily could've won 75 games.

I would have to say the greatest single season in Bulls history is the 1996 season...Just the way Dennis Rodman came in and adapted so quickly to complete that team was impressive..That team gelled so quickly as if the championship was already there's less than halfway through the season..Not only the best bull team in history, but the entire NBA history...They were quite simply unbelievaBULL.....But of course the 1994 season is still my favorite for how they struggled through adversity and were counted out even before the season began..Tp lose the greatest player(Jordan) and still remain contenders the same year was incrediBULL! They still carried themselves like champions..Thanks Scottie for keeping them together..oh and burn in helly Hue Hollins....

The 1995-96 team was the best and easily. My favorite would probably be the 1997-98 Bulls (largely the same roster) because they faced a lot more adversity that season. And I watched/listened to literally every game.

I can't help but wonder if the 1996 Bulls would of won 80 plus games if they were in the league last season...I made me want to spit on the TV when the media was trying to compare the 2011 Miami Heat team with them at the begining of last season saying they coould beat the Bulls 72 win record...What a crock of shit that was..

Yeah, it was moronic but guys like Jeff Van Gundy do not know their history very well and overhype stuff.

The Bulls of '96 wouldn't have come close to 80 wins. I'm thinking like 65-70. The 3 point line being moved closer really helped Jordan and Pippen.

The best team was easily the 96 team, but my favorite team was the 92 team. That was the first team that was being mentioned as a team that could win 70. I remember the Sun-Times running a pic of Scottie Pippen standing and leaning his arm on a big number 70.

They finished with 67, but they just ran through the season like it was nothing. After that to me was the 91 team. They had the perfect team around Jordan and only lost 2 games in the playoffs.

Gotta love those teams.

I agree that the bulls wouldn't win 80 games. But if jordan and pippen were able to play in this era would they wouldn't need to worry about illegal defense...... that's a scary thought. Not to mention the terrible bigs nowadays. Rodman would easily avg 20 rebounds. I think they'd hit mid 70s.

I honestly think Rodman would average 6 fouls in 20 minutes in today's era. The game has changed a lot...

Maybe 80 wins might sound far fetched, but with the three point line being where it is now, they would probably break some kind of record for most three pointers in a game or somthing like that......Maybe 80 is possible....Dam I wish I had a time machine so I could bring them back to see what they would do....

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Best team? Definitely the 72 win team. I mean come on...72 wins. Speaks for itself. My favorite team was probably this year's team though. Might just be because I'm younger though...
