I loved Giordanos, only place I ate at multiple times when I visited over the summer.

Giordanos is delicious but when it comes to pizza, Lou Malnati's is my place!

Those are the 2 names I heard A LOT about. Didn't get to try Lou Malnati's. My cousin swears by it.

i used to live a few blocks from there. my roommate used to order all the time from there. I would always steal all of her Tostones

Danny's Pizza on the southside is my favorite thin crust pizza from anywhere. I'm a Nicky's(the originals, not the crappy franchises) before Portillos guy, and I love Old Warsaw for a great polish buffet.

Most of my all-time favorites have been passed down to family, and they screwed up the places and let them go out of business, but thats life. Better to love and lost....

Tostones are FUCKING DELICIOUS!!!! Go down to Puerto Rico for a week.. you'll gain like 20 pounds eating all their food. Maybe you can burn it off banging some hot puerto rican chicks though..

Kuma's Bar and Grill. It's gourmet burgers that are out of control good! Plus all of the burgers are named after Heavy Metal bands. I highly suggest that you try the Plague Bringer, Pantera, Lair Of the Minotaur, and High On Fire burgers.

I'm a big Fan of Yes Thai when it comes to Thai food in the city, although, nether of the 2 listed places are in the city proper, they are damn close.

Holy shit people. We're talking about restaurants in one of the best food cities in this country, and the best anybody can come up with is Giordano's and Portillo's????

All very good places, none that expensive if you do it right.

Still trying to get into Frontera, but you need to make a reservation 2 months in advance.
