If the Chiefs do not destroy the bears by 10+ I will be impressed.

The Chiefs are tough at home (a loss by a charles fumble vs denver is nothing to be ashamed of).

The chiefs run game and high percentage dink and dunk passing game is going to challenge the chicago LBs and dl in coverage.

They are not great, but they are one of those teams that just happens to be strong against what chicago struggles against.

Stop Charles and make Smith beat us. Keep the pre-snap penalties to 2 or less and with Alshon back in a low scoring game we cover.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Illinois Fighting Illini
Stop the run, and play all passes underneath. I believe the Bears will keep it close. If people think Cutler is bad at throwing the long ball, Alex Smith beats Cutler handily. Plus I don't like Andy Reid's offense because all passes are under 10 yards most of the time. No deep balls.

The last time I thought the Chiefs were a pushover they came into Soldier Field and won. Unfortunately I was present for that shit show and I believe Forte was injured in that game.

Should be an interesting matchup- the Chiefs have given up 125 points this year same as the bears. that is as even as you can get... tied for dead last.
Chiefs played Denver, in green bay and in cincy... 3 pretty powerful teams.
Chicago played at home vs green bay and arizona, at seattle... 3 pretty powerful teams.

This one will come down to turnovers- the team that wins that battle wins the game.
Odds are the chiefs win that battle.

Alex Smith sucks ball and both McPhee and Jenkins will be in his grill all day long.

Bears 24, Chiefs 21.

Totally disagree with the last part. I think that was a weakness of past teams. I think we excel against teams that will try and dink and dunk us to death. We're pretty stout up front and we have corners who are decent in run support.

I think our biggest weakness is our inability to cover down field when our pass rush fails to get home.

Personally, I think our defense and their offense match up favorably, for the Bears

If we can continue to show improved run defense and our O-line can give Jay even a smidgen of time I think we can win this game.

We will see- but the bottom line is this...
On short passes the best game for the bears was vs. oakland- held Carr to 18/30 for 155 yards and a td.

The rest of the games were-
Seattle- 17/22 192 yards and a td.
Arizona- 15/17 137 yards and 3 tds.
Green Bay- 16/19 130 yards and 3 tds.

Green bay sacked Smith 7 times, Broncos got him 5, And the chiefs still managed to put up 24 and 28 points.
The bears have 5 sacks on the season.
