The Fields narratives are so ridiculous. I don't think I've ever seen a more criticized or maligned young player for the Bears in our history. People are so ready to jump on every flaw and make it this giant microcosm like he can't get better, and that the Bears won't ever surround him with competent talent. Like, even as Bear fans we know he's not perfect. But, if you can't see his growth and development you're flat out biased and have no hope.

Every snap behind that oline and with those receivers is clutch. My main concern with Fields is he is in the Chicago Bears Organization, and they will find a way to **** it up.
His rookie year he learned Nagy offense, and had that moron as his first head coach. His resilience to this is epic in my opinion.
Then they gut the team to the point the offense is made up of entirely back caliber players minus maybe 4-5, and 2 of them are running backs. It’s insane!
Year 3 let’s hope they at least try and help the guy some.

I cannot wait until he doesn't have to run for his life every time he drops back to pass. I read something that Fields was pressured on 22% of his passes on Sunday which was a career low. Correspondingly, Fields had his best day as a passer completion percentage wise. He's basically having to learn how to be an NFL QB while under insane pressure week to week and he's still exceling. Just imagine if he ever gets even an average offensive line, it's going to feel like easy mode for him in comparison. I'm very excited for his future.

The line is coming together, and you have to be encouraged by Jones, Jenkins, the super small sample size of Leatherwood. If they upgrade Center and Right Tackle you'll notice a remarkable difference, as the push up the middle is easily the weakest point of this O-line. I have confidence in the Bears to upgrade from Mustipher, it's certainly not that hard.

Yeah, there are some narratives that are like that but I think that most of those that are doing it mostly to be argumentative. The kid has basically had one full season playing games in the NFL for a team which has a terrible pass blocking offensive line and very weak receivers. What the hell do people expect the guy to do with shitty pass blockers and a bunch of receivers who could not make the roster of a good NFL team?

Exactly. Imagine if Rodgers, or Mahomes had to work with ESB and N'Keal as your top options. They would make it work, but it would be a massive struggle and downgrade for them. ESB couldn't sniff the field for the Packers and yet he was the number one option on Sunday for Fields. I do think Claypool will be fine once he integrates and gets more comfortable in the offense.
