Unless Nagy handcuffs him and suddenly becomes a running coach, I gotta think 4,000 yards should absolutely be expected. As far as TDs to INTs, who knows---I think that's probably much more difficult to predict. I'll say 30 TDs and 13 INTs, but that's just a complete guess.
i mean none of us have any clue, it's just fun to talk about potential of an insanely talented QB for once.
i think Nagy/Pace will be very cautious with Fields. probably too careful initially. really simplify game plan, i'd expect a lot of half field reads only and play actions. honestly what we should've done with Trubisky more.
i am curious how much Nagy implements OSU concepts to help him feel comfortable, or goes completely Nagy offense and you have to learn my system. really hope Nagy is more malleable this time around.
build your system around Fields strengths. do not force Fields to develop skills to fit your system. if he's not a super quick decisions west coast offense type QB, then don't do that! use his big arm and play action and athletic ability. use our solid run game.
one thing i'd really like added to offense is a legit deep threat i mean when is last time Bears ever had that? it's almost as elusive as a QB. ARob is a solid over the middle in traffic guy, not really a awesome deep threat. Mooney could be i guess, we'll see but he's not that big. it'd just be awesome to have that stud WR to go with our stud QB now. i bet we go after one in coming up drafts. we'd never had that Julio Jones / AJ Green / Hopkins / Fitz / Calvin J / Tyreke Hill / DeSean Jackson / Adams / etc.
