I don't why everyone wants to push Cody Whitehair off the OL. He is no All Pro, but he still has far more postive plays than negative and Braxton Jones has always played better with Whitehair next to him.
I am letting those two keep at it while you see if you got anything behind them with all of those late round linemen Poles drafted in the spring.
The right side needs attention. No one has sold me at tackle and Jenkins looks the part, but the behind the scenes drama is worrisome.
And please tell me you can do better than Sam Mustipher.
IMO, the is OL still needs work, but nothing Poles absolutely has to spend premium picks/cash on to get it pretty stout.
Good thing too because it's the DL that is an absolute joke and needs to be gutted.
There are exactly two guys that check the boxes for me as starting OL right now, both at guard. Jenkins and Whitehair are good players for this team to build up from.
Center, not a single guy on roster I care for. I'd like to go into next season with a free agent who is expected to start and hold down the fort, or draft a rookie with the 2nd or 3rd round picks. I like a lot of centers that are slated for this draft, specifically the one from Michigan.
RT will depend on how Leatherwood looks. Right now my opinion is to target Conklin and have the best RT on the market.
LT, I'm happy to invest time in Jones, he looks to be growing. I'm not ready to get overexcited about him. I'd like the team to ensure that there is a solid backup LT should his progress stall or reverse.
Patrick and Borom are probably competing to be backups next year. Poles could take all my suggestions and still need to spend $100M on new contract money next year.
