hand eggball is in the other forum.

On topic though, it is not realistic for the Fire to make the post-season this year. They are 6 points behind the 2 teams that are in the holding spot for that coveted 10th playoff position. With all remaining games against playoff teams (except NER, whom they play this coming weekend), the Fire would essentially need to win out and have favours from other teams to make it. Possible? Sure. Likely. Ummmm, no.

But until we are mathematically out of it, I'll keep holding out a slither of hope. :fire:

Saw the coach on CTL today. Kaplan didn't want to talk soccer.

Ignorant to invite someone on if you don't actually want to talk to them. I think Frank handled it well. BTW, he is the interim coach and actually the Technical Director.

Anyway, NY plays RSL today.

Here's for a Red Bulls loss!

Where's the genie icon when you need it--your wish is granted!

All of the results went the way they needed to last night. It is still VERY unlikely, but it got a little less unlikely. A win on Sunday will put them in 'unlikely' territory, and I'll remove the VERY tag. But I still won't hold out hope. they have to prove me wrong.
