I wouldn't be upset if Amazon got the next deal. Would make the prime membership more worth it, probably.

I was kinda hoping for Amazon, but they already paid $1 Billion for the exclusive right to broadcast Thursday Night games, now starting in 2022 (vs 2023). Of course they could invest even more if they wanted. One key will be the ratings of the Thursday Night games this fall.

Whoever gets it would be smart to offer individual team packages. I will spend 99 bucks on the Bears but no fucking way 300 dollars to watch the Browns
I could be wrong, but I think remember NFL Sunday Ticket costing in the $120 range when it was first available.

I would also think the NFL is considering just keeping the rights themselves and offering it via streaming. Eliminate the middle man.

I have no clue about how the Amazon deal works. Does this mean I won't get to watch Thursday night football unless I pay for an Amazon account? I swear I'm not a boomer... Seriously.

You will get the game if it's in your local market. Otherwise, I don't believe so.

I’ve heard you can stream games for free and people have been doing it for years. I would know nothing about that nor condone those behaviors…….
