Did you know... the franchise that became the Dallas Burn in 1996 and FC Dallas in 2005 was originally rewarded to Chicago, but no lease could be found at Soldier Field?

Further, the '98 expansion that brought in the Fire was announced to have been pushed back to 1999 before they got back on track?
