Fire and Quaker Oats team up for multi-year partnership | Chicago Fire

I can't even begin to say how disappointed I am in these. For one, the last time I checked, we aren't the revolution. 2nd, diamond metal pattern on the sides of the home jersey? no thanks. I'll live with Quaker, they give us money, but... just no. The away looks like a mix of New England and Vancouver.

Interesting with the inclusion on the collar on the home, but it can't save the rest of the jersey. It's supposed to be a WHITE stripe, dammit.

They had a big corporate party today to officially unveil these things. I'm pretty indifferent about the away jerseys. I didn't notice the stars in the design at first, so that's pretty cool. I still don't like the home kits after seeing them in person.

The blue ones are actually pretty cool, but I hate the red ones especially the collar

i like em both, but i liked the old ones better. Didnt think we needed a change.

The event was pretty nice, good reception from the Quaker folks, and they seemed genuinely enthused about having us there. I must say that it was great to see some of the guys before they headed off for Florida, and they all seemed pretty stoked about this upcoming season. They all looked pretty good in the new kits. I must say that while I am not 100% a fan and I'd rather see the white stripe with blue logo, the home kits have grown on me a bit. I'm still not a fan of the away kit yet--the stars are not visible from across a room, so I don't imagine you could see them from the stands to the field. I'm sure they'll grow on me more as I see them on the field. I love collars on jerseys, but I know they're not for everyone--but if they were good enough for Piotr Nowak, they're good enough for me.

Lastly, Quaker gave us a gift and you'll be seeing it in the stands this season.
