Maybe the :fire: should sign some affiliation agreement with the new indoor team, but the sports are actually pretty different, so that is why this is a random thought.

Another random thought: I'm still pissed we got rid of my two favorite players, Justin Mapp and Calen Carr

Carr trade was good... got Oduro from it.

Carr is a good kid, he came out to some of my DJ nights and I'd run into him around town. Nice enough guy, and he really tried hard--my wife loved his hair (before he cut it). That being said, it isn't major league friendship, he has to play and if he can't, then he has to go. the Carr trade came up roses for us with Oduro finding form. So while I'm sad to see Calen go, I'm ok with the business of it all.

As far as forming a partnership with the indoor soccer team, it wouldn't really make too much sense to get in bed with them. Different format, almost different sport. While drawing to/from their base would be cool, you'd have to imagine that many of the folks that go to indoor come to outdoor--but it is not the same in reverse. So really, the indoor team would want to make nice-nice with the Fire and their affiliates to gain credibility and some extra asses in the seats.
