Kellen Gulley’s 75th minute goal sealed the deal for the Chicago Fire Reserves as the Men in Red defeated Real Salt Lake 1-0 to win the MLS Central/Mountain Reserve Division title and close out the reserve season. The Fire earned $25,000 for winning the Central/Mountain Reserve Division.

Led by first assistant coach Leo Percovich, the Men in Red went 7-2-1, 22 points in 10 reserve league matches over the course of the 2011 MLS Campaign.

Orr Barouch and Cristian Nazarit both tallied five goals over the course of the campaign, sitting second behind FC Dallas’ Raul Luna (6) as the top scorers in the Reserve League. In addition to four MLS goals, Uruguayan striker Diego Chaves found the back of the net three times in the MLS Reserve League. The Men in Red notched 19 goals while only allowing 10.

2012 we will be very good if the core remains and we re-infornce the spots we need to. 2013 is my bet for winning the league if we maintain the appropriate trajectory.

:yep: 2013 should be a good year in Chicago. The :fire: :blackhawks: and :bulls: should all be great, the :cubs: will have a chance to be good, and the :whitesox: and :bears: may have a chance, but not likely.
