I'm still shocked the Sox are in first. After struggling for most of the first half, that late run you guys had was impressive.

Oswalt said he wouldnt approve a trade to The White Sox.

Heard it on 670 The Score.

Too soon to start comparing the 2010 Sox to the 2005 Astros? Probably. But it's a pleasant though.

Just hope they do something differently in the last four games of the season than the Astros, though.

Also Oswalt said this back in May before we went on our run, so I'm sure he would approve a trade to us now, especially to pitch with his buddy Peavy.

Being bffs with Peavy really has nothing to do with it; I don't know why you would even mention it. Peavy was on the team in May when Oswalt said he wouldn't approve a trade, and now he wouldn't be able to pitch with him.

Anyway, ultimately, I'm with ya; screw Oswalt. I don't want him.

Yeah either the Astros or the Indians of that season would be a good comparison, but keep in mind both teams were two of the best pitching teams in their respective leagues that year. The Sox are good relative to the league, but haven't been dominant so far the way those two teams were.

Yeah, .833 (25-5 run) for the second half. 62-13 the rest of the way.

Yeah, that's not happening.

Lately, our pitching has been dominant. Our pitchers have like an ERA of 1.50 during our win streak.
