First Person Shooters Online. PS3

I was a big fan of the original Socom and the online play. Got into Socom:Confrontation ok even with a lot of bugs but traded it in for Socom 4. I still like playing the classic Socom multiplayer but I'm pretty useless on a bad team. I hate just playing random games with people I don't know. I was just wondering if any CCSers played Socom and would like to join up or whatever. I also may be looking to trade in Socom for something else is you guys have a suggestion.

I'm not a big fan of CoD games but I guess mostly because I'm so familar with the old Socom. Might just need to get used to it. Those are pretty much the only shooter games I've played so if you guys know of a better game I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.

If you're looking for FPS, so many to choose from... Battlefield, Killzone series, MAG, Homefront(though i have never played it)....If you dont care about FPS...try Uncharted MP. Third person, but is really addictive and is good.

Bought Killzone 3 MP through the PS Store for $14.99....really good. Hard, but good

Just Bought MAG off ebay for $8.00(get it monday). Looks good as well

Just look around on youtube or game sites and see what you think looks good.

I guess Socom is more third person. I saw Uncharted yesterday at game stop and thought about grabbing it. Thanks.

Just and FYI, MAG was made by Zipper Interactive, someone who you're familiar with since they made the SOCOM series. Granted MAG is an FPS while SOCOM is a TPS.

Sucks that Zipper no longer exists.

I had Mag for a while but couldn't get into it. I traded it for Socom 4, which has the classic mode that is a lot more strategic but most that play it online go to the respawns. I had high hopes for MAG since Zipper was doing it.
