Didn't you guys used to say that Reinsdorf was sort of a cheapskate when it came to his baseball hobby? Maybe there is a bit of truth to the economic and attendance issue, but I agree that the GM shouldn't make this an overt excuse.

not unless he goes in the red. he wants to break even and win. the dude is a cash king. a loss in revenue to him is pennys. I love JR. Bulls fans should too.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Minnesota United FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
I agree about the failing at PR part.

And its sad because this division has been winnable the last couple of seasons.

Kenny does love him some limelight. With Robin as manager now, he can be the star.

Finally had a chance to read this. It is an interesting take on the GM. I am not certain I agree with getting rid of a GM for a bad PR move, but it was a good read. I could go into teacher mode and pick out a few awkward sentences and spelling errors, but seriously it was a nice article for tossing something out quickly. I am guessing the front page could always use content, and so I agree with Rice in saying you ought to write more articles if you enjoyed it. I'm guessing you did since you are asking if you ought to write more. I know I've been having fun writing for WSD. Thanks again Rice for letting me do that and shamelessly self promote myself here at the same time.

yeah, my next article i may have one of you guys proof read for spelling or grammar, my sentences are more or less my personality actually talking in an article, thats just how i am. In law school and practicing a bit in my younger days my grammar got skewwed a bit because of all the abbreviations and cliff note style writing....i dont think i can shake that habit.
