The Flames's Morrison was injured by a hit from Hammer last week behind the goal line. I remember he took a while to get off the ice. Anyway, he's kinda pissed at how the Hawks were yelling obscenities at him as he tried to get off the ice. In the video, it's visible Sharpie points to him as he skates by at the 29 second mark.

"It wasn’t easy getting off. I couldn’t put much weight on that leg. To be honest, what I’ve tried to do is not stay down every time I’ve gotten hurt. It’s not trying to be manly or prove that I’m tough. The play is going on and you’ve got to get off the ice. What was a little disappointing was coming off and guys from the Chicago bench being a little disrespectful. That was uncalled for. But you do what you do and try and get off the ice.

"I don’t know if they understood what was going on but some young guys on their team were standing up and yelling. I don’t think it’s very professional. But they’ll learn.’’

What a tool. "The other team yelled at me when I got hurt... waaaah"

Reminds me of 09 when Pierre McGuire was trying to start a shit storm by acting offended after he heard the Hawks talking trash with the Flames.

Outside of friendly pickup games with friends, I've always heard all sorts of shit said while playing. Hell, that holds true for pretty much every team sport.

These men are getting paid to play a game. They need to shut their damn mouths and let what happens on the field/ice/ring stay there.
