I seem to recall at least one individual here that does this type of work. I just left a Carmax in an attempt to sell a vehicle I no longer need, and their offer was half the amount they are currently re-selling the exact same vehicle for on their website. Now I didn't expect to walk in there receiving a Kelly Blue Book value offer, but these assholes in Shaumburg IL weren't even in the ballpark. They must think we're stupid and simply will not notice the 100% mark-up. They didn't even meet me halfway on new parts I recently upgraded from the factory originals.

So if anyone is considering purchasing a used vehicle w only/55K on it, I'll cut you a really good deal:eek:

Carmax can suck a fat D. They mark their vehicles well over retail book and try to steal them from consumers. It's a joke. And yes, Dewey is a car guy, along with myself.

So how do U obtain free muscle milk?.

I don't know how Carmax stays in business, there must be quite a few uneducated consumers out there. I'm placing a private ad for $3,000 less than they're asking for an identical vehicle.

They stay in business because consumers have a 'perceived value' with their mantra of advertising a no-haggling environment. What people don't understand is all of their cars are marked over book retail value, so all you're doing is taking the path of least resistance and making yourself spend more money because people look at haggling as an inconvenience and a head ache.

Are Kelley blue book values fairly accurate?.
