I've been here 16 years and have never seen it this bad. Bridge down the road has water flowing over it and roads are being closed all over the county. My sump pump is kicking on every 20 seconds but it hasn't been enough to make the second pump kick in. Going to have a beer and take a slow drive in my F350. Fun being able to drive where others turn around.

Btw, I believe you have gotten it worse downstate, but all the rivers in the Chicago area are above flood stage and I've heard the Kankakee river is overflowing its banks now.

I live on a golf course, and during the rains last week the course was actually close 3 days in a row because of how saturated the course became. Saturday and Sunday they instructed golfers not to drive their carts on the course either to only use the path. So its really weird to have this much rain this time of year. Certainly I can see it in April or October, but not June.

Meanwhile the pacific northwest is going to be breaking all their record highs this weekend in an very unusual heat wave for them. Suppose to be 110 degrees in Spokane, Washington.

Alaska hasn't had a normal weather pattern the last few years now.

So lots of abnormal shit going on.

Mines been fairly good to me thus far. Having these 60 degree days isn't good for the plants that like warmer weather though.
