Just curious what you guys around here think about Flowers and his hot start. Is it a fluke or did his new batting stance really make a difference? I know he wont continue hitting at this rate but if he could atleast be decent and not an auto out.

I would be very happy if he settled at around a 260-275 ish average.

He's hot right now, but it would be best to see more, at least thru May before I call him a serviceable starter.

If he hits 260-275 this team will be just fine! Especially with Alexei doing what he's doing! His season usually doesnt start till the end of May early June

And he did yesterday seeing 16 pitches in his three at bats drawing two walks. But let's be honest, when he's the player of the game because of two walks we aren't hitting well.

If he hits over .250 with 15 and 70, Steverson deserves a big bonus from the Sox for this alone. I said it before Steverson is renowned as a good hitting instructor.
