Imagine being a Browns fan from 1999-2019. Ouch. 1 playoff appearance and they blew a big lead in that game as well lol

The 2014-2017 Bears (19-45) weren't bad enough to make the list of anti-dynasties. Damn. That's a lot of terrible football.

Those were some dark days. Emery hired the wrong coach(es), drafted shit players and doubled down on an aging roster with an average QB-- coupled with several years of Angelo drafting very poorly as well

people that think the defense is old now don't really comprehend how ancient it was in the Trestman era. it was still Mel Tucker's doing, for them to go from high level to the worst defense in Bears history (with all those 60s and 70s teams), but dude drafts Shea in the 1st round. Emery made some great moves, but only really for the offense. they shifted from a defensive identity that actually worked to an offensive one that couldn't win games despite the high performance level from Marshall/Jeffery/Bennett/Forte because the defense had them down 30 points by halftime.

oh also, for posterity, that "elite" Lovie Smith defense in 2012 couldn't beat winning teams. team was next level shit for many years until Nagy. if Nagy's the worst it can get, then they're still at least mediocre I guess.

The mid-to-late 90s Bears teams (from 1996-2000) were the darkest I've witnessed since becoming a Bears fan.

Yeah those years sucked too. The fallout from the Mirer trade, the defense just with little to no talent and barely any skill players to speak of. Remember Faulk embarrassing the Linebackers in 99? They couldn't touch him. Urlacher and Brown were then drafted

Darkest period for me as a fan......the 1966 season through 1976 where the Bears were 54-96-3.
