I know sometimes he seems to fudge the "safety" precautions, but its still awesome.

Was this guy in the Russian Military? When I see him handle weapons its in a very military manner a civilian normally wouldnt handle them.

Your are welcome to come out and shoot its twin anytime. The brand new range a couple of miles from my home allows the .50 cal to be shot in there. It is a blast, literally!

I do not know the particulars on the guy but one thing is certain, he knows how to handle weapons, is a tremendous shot, has a comfort level with them that leads me to believe he has some type of military experience. The one thing that I do question is the Russian part. I think that the accent is fake because at times it slips but who knows for certain.

It would be a blast (pun intended) to fire some weapons with him.

How rich is this guy? Just the ammunition he's gone through in those two videos had to cost a small fortune. Not to mention the $7000 on the desert eagle, and the APC he's driving around in.

He is American and not Russian. Found a small amount of info on wikipedia.

I can't even imagine what a single .50 cal round costs for that.

A single .50 handgun round runs me about $2.50.

That APC is quite similiar to the one's we used guarding nukes although ours had an M-60 mount on top. Would love to fire one of those .50 cals some day. I have heard others say that while watching them be fired is awesome actually firing it is no big deal due to their being mounted. All you are doing is pushing the trigger and pointing. Go fire a .50 cal handgun and you really become a part of the weapon.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FPSRussia

FPSRussia formerly known as "FPS Kyle" is a popular YouTube channel, and a personality of Kyle Lamar Myers (born May 9, 1986) an American YouTube user. He is notable for his portrayal of the Russian character "Dmitri Potapoff", on his YouTube channel FPSRussia. Myers was born and raised in Hart County, Georgia.

Haha, my instincts proved correct! Good find Frank. It does not answer my other question about military experience. If he does not then this guy has some serious time with weapons to be that comfortable and good of a shot. He talks about having "friends" that own some of the weapons he fires in the videos.

Thanks for posting. I've never seen this guy.

1. The FTF during the .44 Desert Eagle paint shoot kinda bothers me for a $7000 gun. Probably just the ammo he was using.

2. With that APC and the position of the driver right under the .50, I wonder how many times hot shells find their way around the neck/collar area of the guy driving? Can you pick these drivers out of a line-up by the neck burns they have? lol

He almost has to have some kind of military experience. Those shots with the sniper rifle are ridiculous. Especially the groupings. His ability to handle the PPSH was really impressive too, as I've heard it's really difficult to keep those on target. One thing is for certain. This guy is fucking LOADED. The amount of money he spends on ammunition is absurd. How do you even acquire some of those weapons legally to begin with?

Well, hot damn!

Whem i was in Florida, I got to shoot a Hi-Point 9mm, a 12 guage with deer slugs, an AK 47, and a .357. All were fun. The .357 felt right.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is a Class III dealer, and therefore licensed to purchase all the automatic weaponry. If he is not, then all you need to purchase (depending on your state/local laws) is the proper BATFE form filed and signed by the head law enforcement officer in your area. Many people go around the signature requirement by setting up a gun trust, thereby allowing them to purchase automatics and all sorts of neat accessories like suppressors. Make no mistake however, even if you go the route of the gun trust, the local officials, and feds will all know what you purchase because you have to pay the $200 tax stamp on each item.

I'm not a huge gun guy, I'm not against them, and have had fun shooting them on occasion, but this is really funny. Right off I knew he wasn't Russian because it really is a horrible accent, but that only added to the charm of the persona. This is an excellent find I wish I wasn't at work or I'd watch more.
