And you guys all bash J.R Smith and call him crazy...When JR Smith is compared to Ron Artest he looks like a saint....So for the 100th time, is most people on his board still against signing J.R Smith????Come on, wut do ya say?

LOL! Is it any weirder than changing your name to Chad Ochocinco, though? It kind of reminds me of when Loyd Bernard Free changed his name to World B. Free except in his case he only changed his first name and people were calling him "World" already because of his long arms and high vertical leap ability.

I remember when Akeem Olajuwon became "Hakeem." He said "I'm not changing the spelling of my name. I'm correcting it!

Artest may have a screw loose, but I give him mad props. He knows he's crazy, and he was able to harness his energy for good as he matured. Whether or not he changes his name to something unconventional or not, that's his call, and none of it bothers me.

Yes because the fact that Ron Artest is much crazier is reason enough to sign J.R. Smith. Let's just ignore the fact that Smith is a chucker and a ball-hog in the truest sense of the words.

And if we are talking about someone with a criminal record in their past (and violence), you won't find many worse than Smith.
