Thank you for the comments, Pink.

I regret to inform everyone that I've been suspended for a week from the airwaves for comments made about BYU and the religion of the institution.

I thought everything was in bounds but the FCC saw otherwise.

You just can't say anything in 2011 America.

A lot of the stuff you said was based in ignorance about the LDS religion. I am pretty anti-religion in the first place but the stuff you said was just unfair.

You do realize that BYU wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for the fact that there was a Mormon religion? Therefore, they wouldn't be the #1 ranked team anyway.

What did I say that was unfair? I thought I commended the school for sticking to its code of ethics and even credited them, saying it was not the schools fault, but rather Davies' for him being suspended.

In any case, an apology was issued earlier today.

In any case, an apology was issued earlier today.

'Would it have been okay if he slept with six of his wives instead?'

That seems to me like a cheap shot at the stereotype seeing as the LDS church (who owns the school) banned polygamy over 100 years ago.

The apology didn't seem too sincere for some reason, but I don't find it personally offensive. I just found the joke to take away from the other points you were making because it was in poor taste. And then to say right after 'I'm not trying to make fun.' Rightttttt ;)

Though I appreciated you changing your stance on the Rose for MVP debate.

Well, that's fair.

I'm not Mormon but know the early Mormons didn't only practice it, but their teachers commanded it, but that most practicing Mormons today do not practice it, so with that in mind, I shouldn't have gone with that line.

Fair enough.

I lived in China and happen to speak Chinese and have many Chinese friends who would laugh at that...what they've said to me about Americans is a lot worse and a lot funnier...you don't even want to KNOW what most Chinese people I know think of Americans...it's all good...shp...

Are you one of those guys that likes to nitpick everything? do you realize how many public apologies I'm gonna have to make it every word I say is scrutinized with a magnifying glass? I'm gonna be giving more press conferences than Bobby Knight.

You don't apologize for your opinions....unless you feel compelled by your own conscious.
