Frank Thomas As Hitting Coach?

I noticed there was a lot of talk about this in Robin's thread, thought this deserved its own thread. Do you guys think it will happen?

You're correct. It was a huge disagreement, but they've settled their differences for now.

Haha, I think they're on speaking terms. Don't know about Frank being on staff full-time, but if he could work with Ozzie for more than 5 years, I'd say Frank could be possible.

I said this in Robin's thread, and I'll say it again here:

If there is anybody who can teach guys like Dunn how to it, it's Frank Thomas.

Not only is Frank a future Hall of Famer with the Sox, and the best player in the history of the team, but he's probably the only person who will be able to help guys like Dunn not hit .162 or whatever the hell his average was.

I think he would be a good hitting coach. And some of the guys know him and have played with him. Change is good. I think he would be very helpful to guys like Dunn, Rios, Beckham, Morel, and Viciedo. Hopefully some of the younger guys aren't completely ruined.
