That's pretty stupid. Get Frasor midway through the season and then give him back after the season is over.

I kind of liked him, but I haven't checked out the stats or read up on the guys we got in return. They're probably better than Frasor, which is nice.

I think since Frasor is a reliever and both of the guys you got back have starter potential and are still very young, in the long run the White Sox may have gotten the better end of the deal, but won't know for a while unfortunately.

But now the Sox are out a bullpen guy actually on the Sox.

Gonna need to make a lot of moves before Spring Training.

I think you should put more weight into your rotation than the bullpen. If your rotation sucks the bullpen won't make that much of a difference

The problem is that we don't really have a good rotation either. Need guys to play this year. Can't just have a bunch of super young prospects.

how so?

you traded santos and frasor from the Bullpen. that does not = a fire sale

now add that to fucking carlos quentin....still no where near a fire sale.

viciedo is playing RF and that I am happy about.

If they were THAT concerned about money they would have never ever signed danks ( which has a full NTC in his first year )

its called trimming the fat and getting some new pieces in here.

I think at this point if Kenny is swapping all the vets for prospects, the number of marginal wins you might get are irrelevant. Sox in rebuild = who cares about the win total?

Of course I might have been wrong about the rebuild, this sounds plausible as well. But I still think if your rotation isn't that good, contention is going to be spotty at best.

I agree it's not a total fire sale, but they don't seem to be gearing up to contend this year at all. That's more of what I was alluding to.

Of course, but look at our division. sure if the tigers get garza its a different story, but the division is not the best right now for SP. If KW wants to make a statement he needs to add another arm to the rotation, and maybe that is why he is stockpiling.

danks, floyd, peavy, humber( insert ) isnt that bad in that division

well if that is the plan, you have to move konerko, floyd, and alexie to make it worth your while.

Oh God, no. Haha. Gotta keep Konerko. He's one of the reasons to still watch next year at this point.

But if KW brings in another SP, anything is possible in the Central. I definitely agree there. Especially if Dunn and Rios can bounce back and have decent years at the plate.

I'm not even worried about the wins. I'm worried about having enough players.

I understand getting rid of some of these vets because both moves have made sense. Just don't want Kenny to go crazy with it.
