Of course, but look at our division. sure if the tigers get garza its a different story, but the division is not the best right now for SP. If KW wants to make a statement he needs to add another arm to the rotation, and maybe that is why he is stockpiling.

danks, floyd, peavy, humber( insert ) isnt that bad in that division

well if that is the plan, you have to move konerko, floyd, and alexie to make it worth your while.

forgot about sale in the rotation.

IMHO I would like to see the sox get another SP and keep sale in the BP.

danks
floyd
peavy
humber
(someone)

thornton
sale
crain
reed
(fill in the rest)

^^^ not all that horrible

you have no holes on the roster technically....unless you want to upgrade de aza.

How about Oswalt? He should be relatively cheap and still can be productive.

I'd think of the rotation more like this
Danks- good pitcher, could step up with Buehrle gone
Floyd- okay pitcher, should be okay
Peavy- finally healthy
Humber- with help of coop, can remain good
Sale- Coop will make sure he's ready.

It's not terribly bad. I just wish the Sox would commit to either rebuilding or competing. Being in between does nothing.

I think if the kid has the stuff, the stamina and can keep from getting injured, you gotta put him in the rotation. Starter > reliever.

Frasor was meh, more or less a salary dump move. Don't hate the move, don't love it.

The biggest thing is that someone basically said this:
The White Sox traded Teahen and Jackson for three pitching prospects.

That makes it sound a little worse. I'll agree that Frasor wasn't impressive.

what did you expect to get from moving those guys. teabag was a salary dump on top of the prospects.

True. I never really like either one, but these prospects need to actually do something to make me happy.

I'm not expecting them to do anything right now, but 5-10 years in the future, I'd like to know their name.

Neither prospect was ranked in Toronto's top 25 it said on MLBTR... pretty much got nothing in return... these prospects are nothing special.

That is fine. Getting Frasor's option off the books is good enough. Hence why its a salary dump. Frasor isn't worth the money.
