Bears should go for an early dinner. Today is insane and they should not be involved in any of this.
Wait til July and get a Vaccaro caliber player for like $19.95+ shipping and handling

The #Lions are signing nickel CB Justin Coleman to a 4-year deal worth $36M, source said. The highest paid nickel in the NFL for the former #Seahawk.

9 million per year
Was a player in the Callahan market. But that's the bar the Bears probably have to hit if they want him back.

Callahan is not going to get the same money Coleman just did....he's older, has some injury history and is shorter.....don't see it

That is still 18 million a year which is pretty crazy if short term.
Yes but not as crazy as the 4 year 66 million being reported as the full contact numbers. They are only committed to half that

Lions trying to build through the 1st day of FA. I'm sure that's going to work out well for them...lol

Listening to Detroit talk radio

- they are dogging the lions moves

- they say bears are going for leveon Bell

I doubt big time we go after Bell. But after Collins and Coleman deals I see us out on both Amos and Callahan

The way I see it, Would you rather have Amos for 10m+ or having Bell for about the same cash

Our defense will still be very good without Amos and Callahan. Our offense could be elite with Bell...

Yeah but looking at these deals, is $8M per year that crazy to keep Callahan. When it's all said and done, probably not.

Only if Trubs keeps improving. Bell alone doesn't make this offense elite.

Callahan's also better. I don't think height will factor in at all.

Have a point with injuries, buy if Callahan takes significantly less than that, it's because he gave the Bears a hometown discount.

Lets not put ourselves in a position where hypothetically trubs is improving and we don’t have a RB again

The bell to bears talk has been lingering around but how could we sign him?
