The free Agency period is 2 days away. What will happen. Will the Bulls have a offer for Ben Gordon at 12:01 or will they wait.

I'm hoping we will work something out with him

Bulls will let BG come to them with an offer and bulls will let him walk.

Forman a while back said that his #1 priority is to sign Gordon. He also said that Hinrich will be playing for the Bulls next season.

So maybe they sign Gordon to whatever deal, and then trade Hinrich and parts at the deadline next Feb. Reinsdorf won't have to pay the luxury tax.

Either that or Forman was lying.

I just think BG will get a better offer than what we are willing to give..

Could just be lip service, so the Bulls can say, "Hey, we wanted him back, but he didn't want to come back." when in reality, Gordon probably won't return...if this is the case...because the Bulls were unwilling to pay him what he's worth.

I think they will make him an offer and hope he takes the hometeam discount. But I dont think that it will be a matter of who offers the most. He won't go with the hometeam discount, or I will be surprised if he does.

The longer Gordon's not signed the better for the Bulls. I hope if we don't expect to retain Gordon we can S&T him to upgrade the frontcourt.

From RealGM someone asking KC Johnson if the Bulls will make an offer to Gordon at 12:01 AM Eastern:
They will not. They will be reactive, not proactive.

Not. Looking. Good.
