#Patriots DL Akiem Hicks arrives for visit with #Bears tonight, likely physical tomorrow & then he is planning to visit #Lions this weekend.

Jets also taking a look at several DL, bringing in Jarvis Jenkins for a visit among that group

My guess is the Detroit visit is some built in leverage.

Have to have somewhere to walk out of the negotiations to.

This Hicks situation will tell us a lot about Pace. He correctly played hardball with Danny and we got him cheap in my opinion. Now with Hicks I think he needs to find the magic number to wow him into signing today but not so high that it is ridiculous. It will show us if he has range on his negotiations or if he just does it one way (low balling).

it's the LB from the Broncos.

He's a restricted free agent and has a 2nd round tenure. About 2.3 million salary. I think I'd give up a 2nd rounder and pay him 2.3. He's better than any LB you will find in the 2nd round.

You have to signed him to an actual contract.

Denver would match it, but we could stick it to Elway.

I might even pay him around 5 million. I understand Denver chose to keep him tenured over Trevathan.
