Free Agency

I'm hoping the Bulls realize that they have a strong core with Rose, Noah and Gibson. They need to supplement those studs with a big name free agent or two. Since LeBron isn't coming and neither is Wade, I'm hoping for the combination of Joe Johnson and either Chris Bosh or David Lee.

The Bulls need to take advantage of the weaker Eastern Conference and sign some of these guys to make a run, while we have Rose under contract. If the Bulls whiff in FA, then there is no hope because we've been waiting ever since Tracy McGrady spurned us to sign a big name guy. This is the biggest free agent class of all time. The Bulls need to make a splash.

I mean seriously, even DA BEARS opened up their pocketbooks to sign Peppers and Taylor. The Bulls can't be outdone by the Bears....

What do you think the Bulls should do?

I don't think they have the cap space to sign 2 max FAs, but they have to come out of Free Agency with Chris Bosh. I'd love for Joe Johnson to be a Bull, but Kirk Hinrich's contract and that he wants to play for the Knicks complicates matters.

When Miller is gone and if they let go of Kirk, i think they will have enough to sign 2.

I want Johnson and Bosh.

The Bulls only have enough for one max player. I asked Sam Smith. We can get another one in a sign-and-trade though. If we can play Cleveland tough, we might be able to convince LeBron to come here

I highly, highly doubt LeBron leaves Cleveland. If they win the championship, then there's no chance in hell he leaves.

If the Bulls sign Joe Johnson and a S&T for Al Jefferson, I'd be happy.

It's not really about the money with LeBron, he was offered 50 mil a year to play for team in Greece. No way he leaves Cleveland before he gets them a Championship.

Chris Bosh is my guy because i think he's more realistic than James and Wade. I think it would be easier to find a decent SG who can hit the three with consistency than it is to find a PF of Bosh's caliber.

If we could work out some kind of sign and trade involving Hinrich, i would love to see a Johnson-Boozer combo. I can see that happening. Of course i would like to see any big name FA sign with the Bulls but unless its one of the big three, only one of any of the other guys wont put us in contention.

Wade or LeBron would be amazing! However I would bet they stay, that leaves Bosh. I really dont think he wants to be in Toronto and a decent offer would get him here.

Bosh hasnt given the media any reason to believe he will stay. I know he wont go to Mia because he feels threatened by players better than him(Wade) but im nervous that teams like NYK and LAC might steal him away. I think the Thunder might have the money for him too but i could be wrong and man...Putting Bosh on that team is a scary, scary thought.

They have 40M in commitments for next season. So it will be very close, if the cap is 56M, then they have enough to get a max contract player.

No way he goes to the Heat or Clippers, he wants to win but like anytime said is threatened by better players and the Clippers are just not good and show no sign of being good in the future.

IDK i think the Clippers have a pretty talented team and Blake Griffin hasnt even played in a regular season game. LAs a good market with good weather too. I dont think its a better choice than Chicago but i wouldnt say its out of the question.
