So I am having a massive brain fart right now... but my friends from Minneapolis are coming down tomorrow and other than millennium park and the grand lux restaurant I have no idea what cheap things we can do, any ideas?

Guys.... he said cheap.

He also said under 21. Clubbing and Wrigleyville are neither cheap, nor good for those under 21

We have a million threads on what to do in Chicago.

It's always
Food: Italian beef (Pops, Al's, etc), Pizza (Giordanos, Ginos [dont' go to Gino's], Uno's, etc)
Tourist stuff: Michigan Ave, River rides, Navy Pier, Sears' Tower, Grant Park, Hancock Building, etc
Culture: museams: art, history, science
Sports: Bulls or Hawks (and in the summer we have major league baseball at 35th and Shields. Oh, and we also have the Cubs)

Of course most of this is for the summer. But, just a short recap of what people will tell you.

nice A5, last time i came you had black one.

but never the less audi is audi
Keeping black cars clean is a full time job. Never again.

My buddy just ordered a S7 last weekend and I'm going to get an S6 when my A5 comes off lease.

This is the color he ordered. Phantom Black which has specs of grey in the paint. One of the fastest sedans in the world around 4.7 seconds. The S6 is slightly faster

i just bought a RED color car, so i know the hassle to keep it clean, but once it is clean looks like a beauty.

why do you lease?

$500 month for 36 month and minimum of $5,000 down is over $23,000. that's about half the money to purchase it.

i'm gonna get the Bugatti Sedan when it comes out, and once it does it will be fastest and best sedan. audi won't stand a chance

Fun things to do with visiting friends in Chicago if you're <21 and not rich?

Do the Chicago River tour http://www.wendellaboats.com/experience/riverarchitecturetour.aspx

Point out where the bodies of Chicago's various politico-criminals have been found floating in the river to keep your friends entertained.

Then take them for a ride on the L. Point out the highlights of the famous gangland machine gun/bootleg neighborhoods from Al Capone's days.

Willis/Sears is a must if the weather is good.

In the end leasing vs buying is about a wash financially unless you are going to keep your cars a long time. I don't like to keep a car more than 3-4 years as it starts showing wear in the paint and seats.

I have been leasing since 1989 and have never had a repair bill nor paid for any tires, brakes, etc. I'm always under warranty. Don't have to deal with selling it in a down market and just return it when I'm done.

Also, what most people don't know is that if you lease through the same financial company a second lease, you get a tax credit for the residual value of the vehicle you are turning in. So, typically my effective sales tax on the new lease will be 4.25% not 8.5%. Then I get the buyer loyalty discount, plus if my company is an Audi supplier I get a special discount you can't get. Plus, by paying $50 once in my life as a Audi Club member I get $500 on any purchase/Lease directly from Audi for the rest of my life on any deal with them.

What do you mean "half the money to purchase it"? The S7 is $85K and the S6 is $78K
