Listening to ESPNNY radio, this guy called up and said LeBron is without a doubt going to the Knicks because he's into NYs hip hop culture.

This isn't a Bulls story, but last time I went to a Cubs game in Cincy, a 16 year old Reds fan boasted "YOU WEREN'T ALIVE LAST THE TIME CUBS WON THE SERIES!"

I've heard a Knicks fan say that lebron wants to be a global icon and he can't do that in Chicago.

In the mod forum planning your ban
heat fans saying that miami is a better city than chicago.

LOL. Most of the people who are in Miami really don't live there. It's nothing but a big tourist attraction for drunk teenagers and grown folks during the middle of their mid age crisis. :turrible:

My friend told me Chicago isn't as big as Miami, so LeBron will go there.

Thats all false. Its not easy to find a guy who averages a double double who plays D.

Well

these guys are all couple of getting a double-double on a regular basis and they play good defense

granted, none of them are as valuable as Noah, which is why I said it was the half-truth

Brendan Haywood
Tyson Chandler
Kenyon Martin
Emeka Okafor
Jermaine O'Neal
Anderson Varejao
Roy Hibbert
Andris Biedrins
Marcus Camby
Kendrick Perkins
Marc Gasol
Samuel Dalembert
Joel Pryzbilla
Kevin Love (semi-decent defense)
Mehmet Okur (^)

and then there are the marquee guys... but it's not as easy to find players like these

Tim Duncan
Chris Kaman
Andrew Bynum
Lamar Odom
Al Jefferson
Brook Lopez
Pau Gasol
LaMarcus Aldridge
Nene
Dwight Howard
Al Horford
Josh Smith
Andrew Bogut
(and don't be surprised if Oden eventually gets added to this list)

then there are other consistent double-double guys, who aren't very good on D

Andrea Bargnani (not the best example)
Troy Murphy (^)
Antawn Jamison (^)
David Lee (I know he doesn't play defense)
Amare Stoudemire (same as above)
Chris Bosh (pretty much same as above)
Dirk Nowitzki (basically, same)
Zach Randolph (crappy on D, I'll give you that)

Rami, we're talking averages, not a guy who gets them here and there and they are not easy to find. Also i see you included guys who dont play good defense.

Anyways i just had this whole thing written on MIA VS CHI as cities but i ended up going on a complete rant and lost track of what i was trying to get at. Ill make it quick.

People are in love with Miami the location, not the city. Its the weather, the surrounding beaches and the pretty people. Its really more of a vacation place to most people. Chicago is filled with culture, beautiful and historic architecture and great dining. Museums, navy pier and the rivers that run through it.

If you took Chicago the city and put it in Miami's location, you would have the greatest place in the world IMO. I love Chicago and have debated moving back so many times but at the end of the day, im obsessed with the beaches and girls. It also helps that I can go to a few of the local clubs in MIA and not have to worry about money. Thats always a plus.
