We've been waiting for way too long for this series to start, haven't we? We'll get to see if the forward depth that the Blackhawks have touted in the last two rounds holds up. Meanwhile, the Ducks will rely heavily on its top duo of Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry to carry them past this round. And I guess they've got that Kesler guy, too. But they don't have four capable lines nor do they have the stellar players on the blue line that Chicago does. Taking Game 1 will remind everyone which one of these teams is a two-time champion, and which one is an annual postseason underachiever.

Just looking at those lines there is a lot of skill on the hawks running 4 lines deep.

Desjardins has been really good thus far. He reminds me a lot of Ben Smith who I wasn't happy to see go but understood why.
