A solid defensive performance in the final period was a welcome changeup after a topsy-turvy opening two periods in Game 1. Some more defense like that would be welcome in Game 2, coupled with an offense that got a goal from each of its four lines in Game 1. That recipe would equal an excellent 2-0 start to this series.
