after losing this game I am very nervous going into Miami. If we lose both games in Miami I think its over. A split is def needed. If we can split in Miami it then turns into a 3 game series where we obviously have home court. That scenario still scares me but better then being down 3-1.

Some things that make me confident. The defense. The Heat are averaging only 83ppg this series so far. What that tells me is we just need to step it up on offense and we are fine. Another thing that makes me confident, but is all opinion based is that I dont see us losing 3 games in a row. I would be SHOCKED if we lost 3 in a row.

What are your thoughts on Game 3?

I think if we can upset them at home at least once the series is ours...Like I said in another thread I NEVER go by trends cause every game is different, but we definetely have to take one at their court to stay in this series.. and keep me from having a heart attack

I dont think its an "upset" if they win at their place but it is needed.

True for either team really. We're not coming back from a 3-1 deficit. I don't see us losing both in Miami though. To me, Thibs is too good of a coach for that.

it seems the Bulls can't really admit that they suck offensively tonight. They are just blaming themselves for their bad defense. More than their defense it was their offense that killed them tonight. You can't win if you cant make shots no matter how good your defense is.

I hope they bounce back hard next game and check on Haslem.

Yes, their defense was really good actually... minus the Korver blunder on giving LeBron a three.

They should be talking about their missed free throws. That is the culprit.

A split would be halfway acceptable, but ideally... the Bulls could use two wins in Miami.

2-2 heading into Game Five in Chicago is not much different than 1-1 heading into Game Three in Chicago.

That would be a neat trick! :)

This loss wasn't as bad as it looks (or feels), Once again the Bulls held the Heat's 2 and a half men to 63 points, the same as in game 1. The heat only scored 3 more points than they did in game 1. Miami didn't play outstanding defense. The Bulls just kept missing easy shots. We were out rebounded and that took away some 2nd chance easy baskets. The Bulls only committed 10 turnovers, one more than in the first game and the Heat had 15.

I expect the Bulls to bounce back nicely in game 3, rebound and shoot better and win. The Heat might get game 4 but I still see the Bulls winning the series in 6.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
At the end of the day we lost this because we couldn't make a shot to save our lives. Deng was ice cold, as was Rose (though he got mugged at the rim several times on layups) and Korver. If we can get Boozer going (and for goodness sakes, finishing strong, not any of that weak soft stuff he's been throwing up there) early and have a little more movement instead of stand around and watch Rose do stuff type offense, we'll be ok. We won't play that bad again. 2 points in 7 minutes is just terrible beyond all reason offense. Rose won't play that bad again. He's going to come out and play like the MVP we know he is. We're clearly not going to get help from the refs, but if we shoot our season average and not miss free throws like we did last game, we'll be fine. Our defense has been consistent in every game against the Heat. The Taj and Omer front court is our best defensive lineup and I expect Thibs to use them more. The series isn't over, but we HAVE to come out strong in game 3. We need to at least split the games in Miami.

If the bulls would just shoot a consistent game in miami both games 3 and 4 would be ours.

Its this simple, if Udonis Haslem plays like he did last night, we wont win. He'll hit the open 17 footer maybe 8 times out of 10. Rebounding, toughness. Thats using our game against us.

Boozer looks back into his awful form(though he deserved a few foul calls).I didnt think we would shoot from 3 like we did in game 1 but i really didnt expect us to play as poorly as we did on offense. Missing open looks, Rose getting to the rim and missing. Its a real concern for me.

Now we have our backs against the wall because we have to win in Miami, we have to... I dont know how this series will end. I'll let game 3 decide it for me.

I'm not too concerned about Haslem. He had 13 points, but he and Bosh combined for 23. That's 7 less than Bosh got by himself in game 1 and the Bulls still won by 21 points. His 5 rebounds is a little more of a concern, but the Heat were -11 in points during the minutes he was on the floor. I know that can be a very misleading stat, but he really didn't add that much compared to game 1.

The Bulls just need to rebound like they did in game 1 and make the easy shots, and the rest will take care of itself.

Honestly I'm going to call out Thibs on this loss. Yes the ball was not going into the hoop all night but when Korver is missing everything under the sun & the game is still tied, TAKE HIM THE F OUT! Brewer needed to be in at the end. The pick n roll of LBJ & Bibby destroyed us at the end of the 4th. Also, I know Asik was getting stitches so Noah had to come in, but I would've liked to have seen him come back in seeing as how Noah wasn't doing jackshit all game.

I'm not overly concerned. Basically the shots didn't fall & all the 50-50 rebounds seemed to either bounce directly to the Heat or off one of the Bulls' hands out of bounds.
