It's easy to feel good about the Hawks right now after they grabbed a 2-0 lead in this series, especially with them just putting together one of their best performances of the postseason in Game 2. But it was just one year ago where the Hawks jumped out to a 2-0 against the Wild, only to drop a pair of games in Minnesota to even up the series before Game 5. No doubt the Wild will be riding the energy of what figures to be a raucous home crowd for the opening period. Weather that storm, and the Hawks will then have the chance to push the wild to the edge of the postseason cliffs.

Hockey players are dumb remember they will try to eat a nerf puck. A puck shield isn't a bad idea though. They also need to put a shield around the glass in the U.C. to protect the fans as that glass is always falling down. The Hawks don't care about the safety of their fans at all.

Tonight is not going to be easy but it is doable. We need to put the strangle hold on and not give the Wild any momentum. The difference between a 2-1 series lead and 3-0 series lead are huge. Let's win a Game 3 on the road for once. I don't see us lighting them up in St Paul. This will probably be a 2-1, 3-1 type game. Hopefully the Hawks are up for the challenge. I do not want this coming back to the UC tied. Anaheim will probably make quick work of the Flames and we can't hobble into that series while they continue to rest up.
