Littlefinger wants the thrown. If the Vale marches on Kings Landing and the crazy kid dies that would make Littlefinger the Lord Protector of the Realm. Basically, the king. This is speculation but Varys himself said it. Littlefinger will burn the kingdom to the ground to be King of Ashes if he needs to be. I think he will at least try to grab the throne. I don't know that he will get it.

i just can't see Tyrion dying here, i think he escapes. maybe Bronn, maybe Jaime. he hates his family, so maybe he aligns with somebody else. shoot, Jaime was all set to leave, too. anything could happen.
bu then again, Ned's death, i thought, no way, they won't kill him.

It was frustrating for sure, but I'm not sure I would want to jack up my nuts like that. I would say I was aggravated enough to take a mace to someone else's nuts I suppose.
