I usually can't stand Gamestop, but I went there today to trade some stuff in and they had 50% bonus for every trade in.

So if you have games you want to dump, now would be the time.

And if you have the edge card thingy, you'll get 60% extra.

And since I'm a math genius, you trade in a 10 dollar game, you'll get 16 for it instead.

To bad I never trade in my games. For some reason I always keep my games whether I will play them again or not.

same here. i think of myself as not only a gamer, but a collector. i've only traded in two games before and that was 2 PS2 games: The Hobbit, and Lord of the Rings: The Third Age...and i do not miss either one of them.

I always tell myself that I'm gonna build a big library, but I never end up doing it.

I'll trade stuff in if I know I'm not gonna play it. I traded in UFC 2010. I'm not a UFC fan and I'll never get around to playing the game. So I ended up getting about 38 bucks trade in on it.

With all the stuff I traded in I ended up getting a DSi for the kids. Not bad for games I was done with.

I think the only games I ever traded in were some PS2 games when they had a deal for 3 games and your PS2 and get a PS3 for like $100 off. I got rid of San Andreas, Madden '06 and some other game. I had two copies of Madden '06 cause McNabb was on the cover lol

At this point in the year, especially since they announced 2K 11 and the hype for that started, maybe 7 or 8 bucks?

But with the 50% and 10% you'd probably anywhere from 11-15 bucks. But that's a guess.

The problem with the yearly sports titles is they drop fast. Then you get nothing for them. I remember one year trading in Madden 2002 (the day Madden 2003 came out) and getting 3 bucks for it. Now I can say "for 3 bucks I might as well keep it" but on the other hand, once I have the new Madden will I ever play the old one? No. So I'll usually end up trading it in.

My buddy sells a lot of used games on ebay and he said he ends up getting more in cash that trade.

I normally trade my stuff in at gamestop/ebgames. I know there's more money to be made selling online, etc.

But when I trade, I trade smartly. I trade in at peak value and try to take advantage of deals such as this one.

One thing that I've done with people on other forums that I used to visit is... whenever someone was getting ready to get rid of a game, they'd offer it 1st to someone they know from the forum that way both parties benefited.
