The nfl updated the Rooney Rule this year that if any team develops a front office candidate of a minority race and they are hired as a GM of another team they are awarded a third rd comp pick in the next two years drafts. This is the first the rule is being implemented

I mean he had hands in the (scouting) drafted talent on the Vikings. They're always stacked it seems like. He started as a scout of all places in Chicago, had hopes he'd come back.
