We're all pretty much in agreement that Pronger is doing an excellent job at shutting them down...so what about splitting them up? Giving them each a shift on the 2nd line and moving someone like Hossa up to the first line would mean Pronger would have to stay on the ice longer in order to cover both of them (not that he can really stay on the ice longer than he has been) and Hossa's crafty and intelligent...

May not work at all, but, I wanted to hear the thoughts of the masses.

All the other lines seem to be playing so well, I don't think you should change them up.

If sacrificing Toews/Kane to Pronger means the other lines succeed, I'm okay with that.

Excellent post.

I'm a huge fan of not fixing what's not broken...but I think in Philly, we'll need our top players to be effective.

Yeah I think that's one of the Hawks' greatest strengths...their depth. When Kaner or Tazer aren't having the biggest game, others will step it up. Not to mention having guys like Buff and Eager where you can throw them in at any time is also a big factor. Hence Eager's winning goal.

yes, our depth is picking up the slack for them.

3 out of 4 lines are producing, leave them alone

Last I heard the Cap SHOULD, i emphasize should here, go up about 2 million, which gives the Hawks a lot more wiggle room.

That would be huge for us, but as long as we win the cup, it will make this offseason easier to handle no matter what moves we make
