Brian Sabean's moves make my head hurt trying to figure out why he does what he does.

Melky can hit, i like em. Sanchez, to me, seems like a very very poor mans/not as good a version of Mark Buerhle.

Melky can hit, but not consistently. He had a very nice year, but I am curious to see if he can maintain a BABIP over 30 points higher than his career average while moving into a very pitcher friendly park. He had a solid LD% so it is possible, but I would expect his power to take a significant hit moving from Kaufman to Pac Bell. Also his K rate has been trending up and his walk rate went way down. I guess I am just not a fan.

I also don't get the comparison between Buehrle and Sanchez since Sanchez has no where near the control of Buehrle. However, Sanchez also strikes out way more people than Buehrle. If the point was that Sanchez isn't a top of the rotation starter that is fine, but I just was confused at the dropping of Buehrle's name since he is completely different kind of pitcher than him.

Okay just was curious. Actually I didn't realize it until I looked it up, but Sanchez is going to be 30 this year. Didn't realize that he was that old already.

Melky had a good year, but a pretty meh overall career.

I wonder if San Fran called the Sox about Quentin?

Is that like the 4th team in 4 or 5 years for Melky?

Buehrle has a perfecto, but I think Sanchez had a no-hitter because Juan Uribe fucked up an easy play.

I like the trade or both sides...helps both teams out.

Big P: 2008 and 2009-Yanks, 2010-Braves, 2011-Royals, 2012-Giants....so yeah.
