Ok, time for me to gloat. In tonight's game the US Army soldier in camo during the US National Anthem was wearing a Unit Patch that I created with two other troops from my unit in the mid 90's. I could spot it by the distinct orange color used. Awesome!

Here is an early working copy from when we added color:

Even better when I went to say hi to the soldier that my nickname in the unit has lived on!

Boudreaux....it is a long story and occurred in the hot steamy swamps (well not so swampy), of Ft. Polk in Louisiana.   And no, it was not for naughty reasons. Also kind of became a character of mine that continued to someone else after a left.</p>

On a side note, I went down in the 3rd to say hi to the trooper...almost photobombed him on the jumboscreen</p>

The Latin is: "I shall find a way or make one."</p>

Nice statement.   We were not so creative, <span style="color:rgb(128,0,128);">but the "way" just always happened for us for no need for a statement</span></p>

HA! It actually became a running joke. Because we NEVER had the right stuff, couldnt get the right stuff, and we were the first "on the beach", there were...very creative solutions.</p>
