I would think genetics would be an overwhelming factor in living past 90 myself.
Also, it's important to keep using/"exercising" your mind, so card games/chess/reading is more important than most people probably assume.
I hate to say it, but many in my generation (edge of X/Mill.) won't have the resources to make living past 80 a very attractive prospect.
God, I wish I had just gone to work for the state and locked in a huge pension....big mistake.
