It looks like grease that has dripped from a grill..... maybe they roll the grill out, cook, and then back.

I'll second the animal theory.

I copied the image to Photoshop, rotated it 90 degrees and blew it up 300%
....... and it looks like someone is gutting one of those giant Costco teddybears.

Here it is cropped and zoomed in....

To the right of what looks to be a guy with a ponytail, it looks like that object is pretty tall..two vertical supporting beams with a horizontal one across based on the shadow. Looks like it is taller than the guy, but hard to tell without knowing the exact angle of the light source. The other object looks like it's fairly low to the ground with a shadow being cast just a little off the edge.
